Welcome to the start of you society journey.
The Approval Principles will be used by staff, officers and elected volunteers when reviewing and considering new society applications. You can find our 'Approval Principles for new societies' document on the website.
Please ensure you complete all sections of this form carefully. New society applications need to include:
Clear aims and objectives
3 minimum group leaders to run the society (Chair, Treasurer and Secretary)
10 minimum members interested in your society
Once you complete the application form below we'll email you confirmation of receipt and discuss the next steps.

Data Protection: We will share the information you submit on this form with relevant Union staff, and may share it with elected officers and elected student leaders (such as Societies Council) for the purposes of contacting you to discuss your ideas and supporting you to complete your accreditation. We will store this information for the duration of the current academic year, after which it will be deleted.
